These batteries are specifically designed for high shock and vibration installations. They give better cranking performance in high compression race engines and come in sizes to suit both competition and amateur racers. Benefits of Red Top batteries include excellent discharge performance, sealed construction giving no leakage, light, can be fitted upright or on their side. (Not to be fitted upside down). They can be stored for 2 years before use and will stay fully charged. The technology is based on aircraft requirements. They would typically be used for racing cars, classic cars, microlite & self-build aircraft. Recently there has been a huge demand for these batteries for small and large robotics. |
